Battery Safety |
- Use only battery types approved by Digital Matter.
- Do not expose to extreme temperatures (below -30°C or above 60°C). Using above 60°C may result in the battery overheating and in extreme circumstances, combusting.
- Avoid puncturing, cutting or squashing batteries.
- Certain batteries may emit poisonous gasses or acid when damaged – handle batteries with care at all times, avoid contact with any liquid being emitted from the battery or changing damaged batteries in confined spaces.
- When applicable, charge using approved equipment only.
- Do not use if the battery appears damaged.
- Dispose of batteries properly in accordance with relevant regulations and directives.

Handling and Installation |
- Mount the device securely using the provided screws.
- Care must be taken in sealing and affixing the device to ensure that no harm is suffered or damaged caused by the tools used or the device itself.
- Avoid moisture, vibration, or impact.
- Use proper PPE during installation.
- Follow the installation guide.
- Ensure that the RF does not interfere with the operation of any lifesaving medical equipment

Transportation and Storage |
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Keep in original packaging.
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure as much as possible.
- Comply with ICAO and IATA shipping regulations as necessary.
- If in storage and unused for a period of time, some LiPo batteries may become lose their charge and may require a recharge from time to time.

- Ensure ingress protection (IP) rating matches the relevant use.
- Dispose responsibly at end of lifecycle in accordance with relevant regulations and directives.

- Apply firmware updates as recommended/suggested by Digital Matter.
- Inspect mounting and wiring connections using appropriate tools and suitably qualified individuals.
