The RoHS2 Directive, 2011/65/EU with amendment RoHS3 EU Directive 2015/863/EU, imposes limitations on the presence of lead and several other potentially harmful substances such as Cadmium, Mercury Chromium VI, PBBs, and PBDEs within electrical and electronic goods. According to RoHS regulations, these substances must not exceed 0.1% or 1,000 parts per million (ppm) of the weight of homogeneous material, with the exception of cadmium, which is restricted to 0.01% or 100 ppm.

REACH

REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) stands as a European Union regulation designed to ensure the safe utilization of chemical substances, prioritizing the safeguarding of human health and the environment. Its objective revolves around the identification and control of substances deemed as very high concern (SVHCs), which includes carcinogens and other hazardous materials. This is achieved through mandates for registration, communication throughout the supply chain, and authorization for specific applications.

An IP Rating outlines the level of resistance of the device enclosure to water and dust penetration. The majority of our product line is IP68 rated, guaranteeing that the devices can endure fine dust, high-pressure spray, immersion for up to 30 minutes in 1 meter of water, and extreme temperatures.

IK 

This indicates the level of impact resistance the housing can withstand. The majority of devices have a rating of IK07 or higher.

An IK07 rating signifies that the housing is safeguarded against impacts of 2 joules, which is akin to a 0.500kg mass dropped from a height of 400mm onto the surface.

Bluetooth SIG

The Bluetooth SIG oversees a certification program aimed at demonstrating interoperability among Bluetooth devices produced by various manufacturers. This certification, mandated for Bluetooth devices, is conducted by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group.
