We’ve added full support for Teltonika Eye Sensor tags in Telematics Guru. These Bluetooth tags enable rich monitoring capabilities, including temperature, humidity, movement detection, and hall effect sensor state. Partners can now add a Teltonika Eye Sensor tag as a tag asset using its MAC address, allowing seamless integration and reporting within TG.
The Teltonika Eye Sensor and Teltonika Eye Beacon are Teltonika BLE tags that can be used for a variety of applications. Still, they are specifically useful in applications requiring monitoring of temperature, humidity, movement, magnetic field or beacon and gateway separation.
Configuring Teltonika Eye Tags
You must have the Teltonika EYE APP installed to configure Teltonika eye tags.
Teltonika Eye tags are capable of broadcasting in the following formats:
- iBeacon
- Eddystone
- Sensors
- iBeacon and Sensors
- Eddystone and Sensors
The first three are all supported by Digital Matter devices, whereas the last two are only partially supported. Please see Bluetooth Supported Sensors.
In order to receive tag sensor data, the sensor frame broadcast must be used. The Sensors frame allows the tag to broadcast temperature, humidity, magnetic field, battery voltage or accelerometer data. This frame is integrated as a User Integrated Tag custom string on the Remora3 4G. However, for use on other BLE devices, use the following strings:
Teltonika EYE Sensor: 255,14,0,9A08,17,13
Teltonika EYE Beacon: 255,6,0,9A08,17,5
Please see Integrating Tags for further information on adding these.
The last two frames are not supported as they require active scanning for those specific frames, which has not been implemented. Please Contact Support for more information/queries on this.
