Locked User Accounts
How to Reset, Unlock, and Administer Passwords in Device Manager
Table of Contents
Locked Out from Device Manager?
If you have three failed login attempts on your user account, you will be locked out for 30 minutes. Fortunately, any user in your account with the User Manager permission will be able to unlock you by navigating to the Manager menu (cog-wheel icon) and accessing the Users screen.
From there, they simply need to find your user login within the grid, and click the Unlock Account link on the right.
Locked Out from the API?
15 failed authentications in a row via the API will result in a 30-minute IP blockage. During this time, no one with the same IP will be able to make API requests into Device Manager. After 30 minutes this embargo expires. There is no way to expedite this lockout period.
