Overview Device Orientation

Overview

The Oyster2 supports detecting and counting 'tip' events, and keeping track of rotations. The feature functions in the same manner as the Remora2, but with improved measuring ability since the accelerometer is roughly centred in the device housing.

This feature is available on firmware version 2.12/3.12 and above.

Device Orientation

The device axes are arranged with X and Y in the plane of the circuit board, and the Z axis pointing out from the device towards the user.
