The G100 will flash the LED in the following ways:

• On startup: a slow 0.5 Hz flash (once every 2 seconds).
• On connection to the server: a fast 2 Hz flash (twice per second)
• On sending records: solid on.
• Disconnect and idle: a slow 0.5 Hz flash (once every 2 seconds).
• Sleep: LED off
• Applying a firmware update: a very fast flash for about 3 seconds, then into the startup sequence. 

The G100 will usually beep twice on startup.
