      Immobilization Duration

      Applies to:

      Device Firmware Version
      Dart3-2G & Dart3-4G FW 1.16+
      G70-2G & G70-4G FW 1.15+

Certain use cases require when an immobilization command is sent to a device, such as a G70 controlling a water pump, the user will only need to send one command to the device that will immobilize the pump for X amount of time when the command is received. This will allow technicians or other users that may not have access to send another command or having to wait until the next command is received, to be able to power on the asset once more. The duration will set the device back to the default state.
If you intend to have the asset immobilized indefinitely until an async command is sent or driver ID is read to mobilize the asset, this setting would need to be left at 0.

For details on how to set up a device for immobilization via command from your server, see the link below.

      Immobilization Duration

The “Immobilization Duration” parameter is a configurable parameter under the Digital Output 1 settings as “Config1”. Here the user will be able to configure the immobilization duration for a time period between 1 minute to 2880 minutes (48 hours), where 0 min will be indefinite immobilization. Immobilization duration is integrated into the existing “immobilize now” process as well as “immobilize later” process. Therefore, the immobilization period will always expire after this set duration (will reset to the default state).
