Supported DM Gateways
In order to read Dot Tags, Glows and Sensors, Digital Matter gateways will require FW updates to their BLE Module.
Please see the release notes for the device of your choice for details of which FW version is required.

If you want to have Dots support with the gateways we always recommend to keep last FW version updated.
If you require integration on a gateway not listed above, don't hesitate to get in touch with Digital Matter support.
Configure Your Gateway on Device Manager
If you have updated your gateway of choice to the latest BLE FW, it is extremely simple to get Tags read into Device Manager!
Simply follow the gateway appropriate guide for setting up BLE scanning.
For example:
Then, simply navigate to the appropriate BLE Paramater Tag, and enable the scanning of tags that broadcast in the DM Format:

This should be enabled by default on most gateways.
Note: Dots are shipped in Shipping Mode to preserve battery life. In this mode, a Dot only broadcasts a minimal identification frame, without battery voltage or temperature, so no useful data will be reported by your gateway. Dots must be activated using the Digital Matter BLE Provisioning Tool before deployment.
Digital Matter Dots in TG
Once your gateway is reporting Dot data to Device Manager, Dots can be added to Telematics Guru as tagged assets. Make sure the Tags functionality is enabled for your organisation (Admin > Organisation > Edit Organisation).

For how to add tags and view their location and telemetry, see:
Digital Matter Dots Frame Specification
Please see below for details on the Frame Specification for the Dots. Multi-byte values are little endian unless is specified.
Please contact Digital Matter support if you require further assistance.
