Our cellular device range features on-board flash memory.

The flash memory is used to store device parameters, firmware and other data such as on-board geo-fence data or driver lists.

If a device travels out of coverage, records will be stored on the device and uploaded upon return to coverage.

In the table below the total record count is given. For most applications and parameters - the available record storage far exceeds typical usage - and filling the flash storage is exceptionally unlikely.

NB - the ‘record’ count includes both data (telemetry) records and also debug records. The default debug level is ‘severe’ and generally does not reduce in a high number of verbose debug logs being recorded.

Only on exceptionally aggressive logging rates, and extended periods out of coverage would we ever encounter filling the available record storage.

Should this unlikely event occur, records will be overwritten oldest first.
