The settings that an Oyster Sigfox ships with are chosen for a good out-of-box demo experience. When optimizing your solution, you may want to change them to achieve greater battery life.

The default settings are shown below. 

Out of Trip:

24 hour heartbeats - attempt to a GPS fix and send it on the Sigfox network every 24 hours.

In Trip:

Trips start and stop based on accelerometer movement.

Fix and send every 10 minutes.

End a trip after 5 min of no accelerometer movement.

Fix and send on start of trip, during trip, and on end of trip are all set to True.

GPS Settings:

GPS settings are chosen to be relatively easy to get a fix. The Oyster requires at least one fix before it will send anything on the Sigfox network.
