Icom Radio Programming

In order to use your radios with the G100, they will need to be programmed. This can be done by yourself, if you have the software, or by your supplier.

The mobile base station will need to be programmed so that the multi connector/D-Sub 25 pin has the following settings:

- The connection speed is set to 9600

- The mode is set to PC CMD V2

The handheld radio will need to be programmed to send GPS data in RMC format with emergencies, man down events, calls and on a heartbeat. Potentially, all handhelds can be updated via OTAP.

The following can also be programmed:

- GPS heartbeat period

- Man Down settings

- Individual ID
