The Remora housing is designed to make it difficult to put the lid on the wrong way around. However, it is still possible.
Place the lid in the correct orientation.
The foam in the lid must be over the batteries.
Failure to do this can result in housing damage.
This image shows how the lid should be aligned, with the foam over the batteries.
It is hard to get the alignment wrong, because the battery locating tabs (1) and lid locating protrusions (2) should prevent it.
However, if it is misaligned and the screws are driven in, housing cracks may occur. This will compromise the IP67 rating.
