The Remora by default uses GPS to detect when it has moved far enough to start a trip.

If a Remora moves a short distance (typically < 150 metres) it will not trigger a new trip.

By default the Remora will do a periodic "heartbeat" and during this time it will attempt to get a GPS fix and upload to the server.

If the “Suppress GPS Wander” parameter is turned on then the Remora will use the last logged GPS position if the new position is nearby.

This could cause the GPS position not to update on the server if the device has actually moved a small distance.

THIS SETTING IS ON BY DEFAULT IN FIRMWARE VERSIONS UP UNTIL VERSION 1.27 - SO SMALL MOVEMENTS WILL NOT SHOW UP

Either upgrade the device firmware to a newer version, or specifically turn the setting off in the parameters for the device on OEM Server.

This option should be left OFF unless you require it.
