Preventing Devices from Receiving SMS Commands

All Digital Matter devices are capable of receiving several different kinds of SMS commands to change the way that they report into the server. However, this functionality may not be desirable as an errant message could require a physical connection to restore the device to its prior state.

As a result, all devices have the option to be excluded from selected SMS commands with the SMS (Adv) system parameter.

Device Manager itself contains in-built functionality with Admin Parameters to enable updating of devices without requiring SMS commands.
